The room was very clean also the bed was comfortable. Just stayed one night however I really liked the location. Was very easy to get around. Also getting to the airport was a breeze as the bus stop is very close. Also close to the main bus terminal to walk if the weather is nice.
With a spot right in the middle of town, you can access all of the most popular spots by walking with ease. Unfortunately, although customer service was nice, the restaurant left something to be desired. With such expensive prices, I expected some taste for my dollar, but instead everything seemed geared more towards looks on Instagram than actual enjoyment. The fries on my Steak and Fries were tasteless, and the waitress told me my only options for cooking my steak were rare or well-done! Overall the Parliament Hotel looks good and that's about it.
Very nice hotel. Rooms aren't large but very neat, clean and well laid out. Service was good and staff friendly and attentive. Location excellent, walking distance to shopping, dining and local attractions. A little pricey but so is everything else in iceland.
Truly central to so many things. Even a 30 min walk to a destination is nothing. On top of being close, it's absolutely stunning and clean rooms are another reason to stay. Front desk is the definition of hospitality. Gorgeous art all around the hotel to look at, the restraunt and bar are absolutely delicious, and the spa in the basement took one of our days to a whole other level.
We stayed there for 4 nights in late March and it was fantastic. The rooms are lovely, stylish and super clean. All the staff are friendly and professional. I especially loved the restaurant staff for breakfast, lunch and dinner - they all went the extra mile to make sure we had a great time. The lounge downstairs is great fun as people gather there in the evening before trips etc. so it feels quite vibe. Will def stay again.
