We had an incredible stay here, we've never felt more welcome at a hostel! The owner was really kind. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a dishwasher. Also free coffee and tea! We definitely recommend this place.
Okay room, very nice gentleman who I assume was the owner? Bathroom, showers, and laundry room are all free to use for guests. The guesthouse is very close to the city centre, maybe 600 meters from the church. Very nice, very clean, we had a good couple of days here before we went to pick up the camper.
Close to the BSI main bus station (airport bus drop off) about 10-15min walk. Self check-in is possible if you arrive late in the evening. You will be give the passcodes for entrance to the building and also to the rooms. You just have to contact them. As for the rooms, I stayed in a single bed. It is small but all good. It has its own sink which is pretty useful for doing skin care. Toilet and shower is just outside the room. Every floor I think has its own T&B. Second floor has the kitchen and dining area. You can cook or prepare your own food here. They offer breakfast for 7euros. I didn’t try this tho. Coffee and Tea are free all day. Overall, this is very good value for money. It’s cheap for Iceland standards. I stayed for three nights and has no complaints.
Amazing place with friendly staff. Toilet, shower, Kitchen and dining room were very well maintained. There was a shared cupboard and fridge where people left their leftover food after they checked out and i thought it was a brilliant idea! 10/10 recommend.
