the staff were really helpful when I told them I had hurt my back. The rooms are clean, comfortable, cosy - good value for the price. Breakfast was great.

Stayed at the Nordurey Hotel in July 2025 and had a wonderful experience overall. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel is a bit outside downtown, but we didn’t mind the 30–40 minute walk—it’s actually a really pleasant stroll through quiet neighborhoods (like this one). There’s no front desk, as check-in is done by code. This worked fine overall, but was a bit tricky when we arrived early in light rain and couldn’t reach anyone to let us in. Luckily, someone eventually helped us. After that, everything went smoothly. Breakfast was decent, and we really enjoyed our stay in Reykjavík.

Small rooms. Has a elevator that worked most the time. We did walk to downtown a couple of time. Mostly took taxis. They do serve a filling breakfast. Coffee available round the clock. Front desk was always helpful calling for taxis.

This is a minimal, continental-style accommodation with a modern, keyless and reception-free concept, which I found efficient and convenient. That said, I echo some of the comments from previous reviewers. It felt like an unfinished project. There was no way to adjust the heat in the room, and no proper rack for towels other than the wall heater. While the shower in my room was amazing, another guest mentioned they couldn’t use theirs due to a clogged drain. On the positive side, there was no noticeable sound transmission through the walls, and we were able to sleep well. Breakfast was good, although the staff member attending the kitchen kept stepping in and out to refill the same tray, leaving the area unattended for a bit too long at times. Overall, it has a sleek concept and some strong points, but the execution still feels incomplete.

The check in and check out process is all key free. Everything is done by an access code. The stay comes with breakfast which was awesome. The options in breakfast were pretty decent. The parking gets little packed as the parking space is limited. It's a little away all the action and hence you need to use your car for any food or groceries. The room were little smaller to our liking as there was not much room once you place your luggage.
