Experience the breathtaking landscapes of Iceland on the Landmannalaugar Super Jeep Tour. This journey will take you through some of the country's most stunning and dramatic landscapes, including lava fields, highland planes, mountains, and rivers. Our custom-designed super jeep is built to handle Iceland's rugged terrain, ensuring a comfortable and safe journey while enjoying the stunning views. Our first stop will be at Hjálparfoss Waterfall, a beautiful waterfall located in southern Iceland known for its unique two-streamed cascade. This picturesque waterfall is surrounded by stunning natural scenery and accessible via a short hike, making it a popular destination. As we head towards the highlands, we'll visit Sigöldufoss Waterfall and the spectacular Sigöldugljúfur Canyon, often referred to as the 'Valley of Tears'. The Sigöldufoss waterfall was once part of the glacial river Tungnaá, but after the construction of the Sigalda Power Station, the waterfall became a serene and relatively clear stream. Similarly, the Sigöldugljúfur Canyon was once filled with brown glacial water, but after the powerplant was built, it revealed itself with a multitude of serene and clear waterfalls. Once we arrive in Landmannalagar, we'll trek through the Laugahraun lava field, a unique landscape created by a volcanic eruption in 1477. We'll also explore the Vondugil canyon, one of Landmannalaugar's most stunning geological features, where you can witness the awe-inspiring power of nature. One of the highlights of this tour is the opportunity to see Landmannalaugar's colorful rhyolite mountains up close. These mountains boast a unique range of colors, from deep red to bright green and yellow, caused by the presence of different minerals in the rocks. This makes them a photographer's dream, providing plenty of opportunities to capture stunning shots.
