❤️ What We Loved - After a long overnight flight from the U.S., Pósthús Food Hall was exactly what we needed. If you’re traveling with family or a group, this place is a no-brainer. Everyone can order what they’re craving without having to settle on just one type of cuisine. Whether you’re in the mood for gourmet pizza and fresh pasta, sushi, French cuisine, or something completely different, there’s truly something for everyone. The atmosphere was another highlight. It’s cozy, modern, and full of energy without feeling crowded. There was plenty of seating, making it the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy your first meal in Reykjavík before heading out to explore. ⚠️ Good to Know Don’t come here expecting fast food. Since each restaurant prepares its own meals, our food took a little while to come out. Honestly, after a long travel day, we didn’t mind one bit. Slow down, enjoy the conversation, and soak in the atmosphere—it was a nice reminder that vacation doesn’t have to be rushed. ⭐ Family Travel Tip Traveling internationally with a group can make choosing a restaurant surprisingly difficult. Pósthús takes all the stress out of that decision. Everyone—from picky eaters to adventurous foodies—can find something they’ll be excited about, which means everyone leaves happy…and ready for the next adventure! 🔄 Would We Return? Absolutely! This ended up being the perfect first meal of our Iceland adventure. Great food, lots of variety, a fun atmosphere, and something for everyone. We’d happily return the next time we’re in Reykjavík.
Multi restaurant food hall. Sensational street food indoors, and at street food prices! We loved it. Choose which counter, choose the fare, collect a bleep, choose a table and start swallowing spit in anticipation! We weren't disappointed. So many young people, so much multinational atmosphere! We're going there tomorrow!
Came here for dinner and was very impressed. There were several excellent food options such as sushi, Mexican, Italian, pizza and Korean grill. I had the macaroni amatriciana from Ciao. It exceeded expectations. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was a perfect blend of marinara, pecorino and chile flakes. Others in our party sampled the sushi. This was fresh, tasty with impressive presentation. The food hall is well organized and there is plenty of seating even during peak times. Easy to see why this food hall is so popular.
Had a great experience at Pósthús Food Hall & Bar in Reykjavík. The place has a really lively vibe with plenty of food options to choose from. We tried burgers and pasta, and both were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. It’s a perfect spot if you’re with a group and everyone wants something different. The atmosphere is modern and fun, making it a nice place to relax after exploring the city. Definitely worth a visit!
Brilliant. Good food. Good prices. Good service. I could not fault it and went back twice. On both occasion’s we ate the Fish and chips prepared by the Chef originally from Greece. Both he and his assistant were very friendly and chatted to us too. As I said before. Absolutely brilliant.
