Best bar in the city. Robert will make whatever you ask for but get Something Local. It’s an incredible place!
This is hard to find if you’re a tourist, cause it’s tucked away inside a food hall named “Pósthús”. When Google Maps tells you “you’ve arrived,” that’s actually the back door, so you need to walk a while around that big building to find the right entrance (see first photo). Then it’s totally worth it. The drinks are delicious, and the place is busy (for good reason) but a bit loud. Inside the food hall it feels like a labyrinth with a LOT going on at dinner time. 😄
Stopped for cocktails at Dryvvk with Robbi at the Reykjavík food court, and wow — what an unexpected gem. The cocktails were incredible, crafted by a true mixologist who brought not just the right ingredients, but the style, skill, and flair to make every drink feel special. A fantastic stop and absolutely worth it. Ask for my man Robbi!
We only discovered this food hall on our last day. The first thing I’d like to say is that you should check out the food hall…it seems all first rate, though we only had a chance to go to Drykk Bar. anyway, the bartender there is a charming alchemist, and he has some dedicated fans too. They’re just working on a new release of cocktails for the upcoming season; you better go try them!
