Very small rooms ,but great location. Note that there is no parking and you need to pay extra for that. Onsite breaky was not great .Better off heading out for what you pay. Be very certain when booking because they do not allow changes to your reservation. However, they do allow early check ins . Had a view of an abandoned courtyard with a majestic mattress and box spring.
Best location! Very central, few steps away from everything, with bonus view of Reykjavik iconic church from the window, which opens on a cute little balcony. Our room was quite small but comfortable, with charging plugs placed in convenient spots, many shelves, and a small desk with a coffee machine. We stayed just for one night and we didn't have breakfast at the restaurant. Overall very good value, I would return to this hotel next time we happen to be in Reykjavik.
Great Hotel in a great location. We did 4 nights here last month and the location was conveniently located around a few bus stops. We were able to easily walk to restaurants and it is also across the street from a Tourist Travel Office. Friendly and kind staff and the breakfast was good. Room was clean and everything in the room worked so that was also nice.
Great location for exploring Reykjavik surrounded by many bars, cafes and restaurants. In the middle of the huddle and bustle of you want to look for it but also good for those keen to stay in the upmarket hotel restaurant. Rooms sizeable, clean and comfortable with large bathrooms. Staff extremely helpful. Small supermarket next door for those extras you might need. Will recommend to others 👍🏼
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! The staff were, without exaggeration, the most hospitable I’ve encountered in all of my travels. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed. Every interaction was warm, helpful, and sincere — they truly go above and beyond for their guests. Special shout out to Martina and Gatis! I had an eventful night due to my personal electronics and they went above and beyond by coordinating with each other to help me get my phone charged before a 2 day trip. My stay was in Feb2026 and the location and room itself was quiet, which was such a relief. I had read several reviews mentioning noise concerns in Reykjavik, but that was absolutely not my experience here. I stayed on the 4th floor one night and the 6th floor a second night. Both nights I slept very well. The bed was comfortable, and the comforter was incredibly warm. The showers get plenty hot too! If I had to note a couple minor improvements: a mini fridge and microwave in the room or in a general area would be a great addition. I do think it’s important for travelers to know that rooms currently do not have one and I was unaware of those options in a general use area. The TV channel selection was also quite limited, with only a handful of stations and very repetitive programming. That said, these are small points compared to the overall experience. The hospitality alone would bring me back without hesitation. Do not second guess this one, this is where you want to stay!
