Super comfortable and wonderful staff! One of the very few hotels in Reykjavik with 24/7 reception. We turned up in the middle of the night without a booking as our airbnb fell through, but unfortunately, we were not able to check in. Bookings seem to be done online, and it wasn’t possible to book for that night anymore as it was 3am. However, we booked for the rest of the stay. Appreciated the kindness of the staff, nice toiletries and Dyson hair dryer!
I stayed at this capsule hotel for three nights last November and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The staff were exceptionally professional, welcoming, and helpful, making me feel as comfortable as if I were at home. For solo travelers, this is truly an excellent choice. It offers a great balance of affordability, comfort, and quality, delivering exceptional value for the price. I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.
Absolutely loved staying here for a few nights in the city! Really clean and loved the shared hangout space. The personalized lights in the hubs are a fun touch. Bathrooms were always clean so I didn’t even mind sharing. Showers were nice and big! A great location too so can’t beat this! A fun way to stay in a hostel/capsule hotel!
If I ever go to the main hubs this hotel is at I’m staying here again. Such a unique experience in the best way. It feels like you’re staying in a spaceship. The hot tub outside was such a perk. I stayed in Iceland and I was able to store some cheese there that I brought home from Italy because there is a communal kitchen/bar. The communal bathrooms were very clean and they came with waterfall shower heads and a Dyson hair dryer.
I LOVED this place. I used to stay in dorms in my 20s and the last time I stayed in one of those I made the very sad realization that I'm just getting too old for traditional hostels. This was the absolute perfect best of both worlds. The location is excellent, the pods give you privacy, the wristband system is easy to figure out, and the hosts were all so accommodating and nice. Especially Isabella, she's such a sweetheart! I was initially kind of worried about the shared bathroom situation but props to their housekeepers because they were always sooo clean. Also there's plenty of room to get undressed and hang up your robe and towel inside the shower pod without them getting wet at all, while still having complete privacy. My one tiny critique is that while the breakfast was delicious and a good value, it was the same thing every day. It would have been nice to get a little bit of variety. Still, this is one of my favorite hostels I've stayed at and gave me hope as a geriatric travler in my 30s that hostel life is not lost to me yet! Lol. I would highly recommend this to anyone, but especially solo female travelers who are slightly nervous about the idea of a hostel, or just want a little more privacy.
