Pallett is like if your local thrift store turns into a coffee shop. It's cozy and has a sort of used vintage feel. We saw a sewing machine and baskets of knitting. The coffee was on the more expensive side compared to other cafes we went to in Reykjavik. A latte was 1,100 ISK. Apparently, they are cool if you want to hang out there all day, and we did see people on their laptops there. They also sell home-made baked goods for 50% off from the prior day. All the baked goods are made at their kitchen.
I have no words to tell you my excitement!!! I didn’t expect that place when i checked good place to eat breakfast. I wanted quick food but i had to stay longer! Toast delicious, coffee tasty, people around amazing. Local people, vintage decorations, maps, books, old posters. Definitelly my place, i will back
Stopped here for coffee on our way to Vík, from the Blue Lagoon. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm, comforting aroma of fresh cinnamon and the kindest, most welcoming staff. We shared what we usually enjoy, and they crafted something just for us—it was absolutely delicious and felt so thoughtful. Of course, we couldn’t resist trying a cinnamon roll, and it was just as incredible—perfectly soft, flavorful, and warm right out of the oven. This place has such a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. We’ll definitely be making a stop here again next time—highly recommend to anyone passing through!
Pallett - Positive Review This was our first meal in Iceland. After trying this café, we immediately had a great impression of Iceland. The bread was soft and fluffy, and the drinks were really good. It made our wonderful journey even more perfect.
A quintessential Icelandic coffee House. They have the coziest of atmosphere and warmest, welcoming staff, whose attitude begs you to "sit, drink and relax". Immense care is placed in creating every coffee drink. I emphasize "create" because of the time, effort, and love of the craft the place in each order. To complement your beverage, be sure to have one of the many homemade baked goods that look like they fell out of a book. Hands down one of the best Coffee shops in Iceland.
