The Comfort admission grants you full entry to the Blue Lagoon and its facilities, including a towel, a non-alcoholic drink at the swim-up bar, and a Silica Mud Mask at the in-water mask bar. The Blue Lagoon is a geothermal seawater lagoon formed naturally within volcanic lava fields on Iceland’s Reykjanes Peninsula.
Recognized by National Geographic as one of its 25 Wonders of the World, the lagoon is within a UNESCO Global Geopark, approximately 20 minutes from Keflavík airport and 45 minutes from Reykjavík. Your visit starts by walking through a 300-meter lava corridor to the main building. After check-in, you receive an electronic wristband used for locker access and cashless purchases throughout your visit.
Showers are equipped with shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. You can enter the warm waters directly from the changing rooms via an in-water entrance. The Blue Lagoon covers around 10,000 square meters offering various areas to relax, including a quiet zone for those seeking privacy.
Enjoy the swim-up bar with your included soft drink and visit the mask bar for your Silica Mud Mask, utilizing natural skincare ingredients from the lagoon’s water. The warm milky-blue water is a blend of 70% seawater and 30% freshwater, rich in silica, algae, and minerals, studied for over 30 years for its skin benefits. The water is naturally self-renewing every 40 hours, without additives or chemicals.
