Begin your day with an 8-hour Golden Circle tour visiting three of Iceland’s iconic sites. At Geysir geothermal area, watch Strokkur geyser erupt a column of water up to 30 metres high every 4 to 8 minutes. Next, see the Gullfoss waterfall, where the glacial river Hvítá cascades into a 32-metre deep crevice.
Explore Þingvellir National Park, a historic and geological landmark where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly pull apart by a few centimetres each year. You will also visit Friðheimar greenhouse, learning how geothermal heat is used to grow pesticide-free tomatoes.
