If there’s an eruption, we adjust the hike to visit it when possible. Lava is visible only during eruptions. The path may be shared, but the value is in the guidance. Red lava view cannot be predicted or guaranteed. Only pickup tours include Seltún and Kleifarvatn. Stops at Kleifarvatn and Seltún may be inaccessible during the winter months if roads are closed due to heavy snow or slippery conditions. Tour routes and timing may change.
