Experience the Northern Lights on a private evening chase from Reykjavík. After door-to-door pickup, your dedicated guide follows real-time forecasts to the clearest, darkest skies- far from the city glow- for the best chance of seeing the Aurora Borealis. Settle into a warm SUV/van as we track cloud cover, space-weather activity, and road conditions. Depending on the night, we may drive 30 minutes to a few hours from Reykjavík to position you under ideal skies. At the viewing spot, your guide will share the science and folklore behind the aurora while you cozy up with warm blankets, hot chocolate, and sweet snacks (think cinnamon rolls). We’ll keep a flexible plan- if conditions shift, we’ll relocate to a better window. You’ll have time for multiple photo stops, plus simple tips to capture the lights on your phone or camera. When the show winds down, we’ll drive you back to your hotel or designated drop-off.
