REYKJAVÍK Pick up at your accommodation. Wait for the Travelling Iceland vehicle. We will visit Perlan where we can get a spectacular view of Reykjavík and surroundings. Visit the city centre and you will learn about the history of the settlement and the life of people in Reykjavik throughout history. We will also visit a sculpture called Sun Voyager, Harpa music hall and Höfði house. The tour ends in the relaxing atmosphere in the Sky Lagoon. SKY LAGOON Sky Lagoon is a man-made thermal lagoon located on the outskirts of Iceland’s capital, Reykjavík. Like all the country’s hot springs and geothermal pools, its waters are heated by geothermal energy.The spa sits right on the edge of the North Atlantic and offers you sweeping ocean views. The main attraction is the 70-metre (229-foot) infinity-edge pool with its own swim-up bar. This means you can sip on your favourite drink without leaving the lagoon’s warm waters. When you visit Sky Lagoon, you’ll notice that aspects of Icelandic culture were woven into many parts of its design. For example, on the outside, the sauna is modelled after an Icelandic turf house. And as we’ll explain later, the spa’s Ritual is also rooted in tradition. Included is the Pure Pass to the Sky Lagoon (admission, towel, entrance to The 7 step ritual). The seven-step bathing experience is inspired by Icelandic culture. The treatment combines the healing powers of warm and cold water, warm steam, dry heat and fresh air as part of a holistic approach to relaxation and well-being. At the end of the tour you will be driven back to your accommodation.
