• Please arrive ready for the sund ritual with a swimsuit; towels can be rented at the pool. Showering without swimwear is required before entering the water, in line with Icelandic hygiene rules. The sund portion takes place in a local geothermal pool where facilities and conditions are authentically Icelandic, not spa-style. Timing and routes may be weather dependent, as Icelandic conditions can shift quickly—dress in warm layers and bring a hat and gloves.
