The colorful landscapes, bubbling mud pools, and steaming geysers make this a truly memorable experience. Continue to Gullfoss waterfall, created by the river Hvítá, which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 meters (105 ft.) deep. Here you are given the opportunity to stand next to the majestic waterfall and perhaps even feel its spray of water on your skin.
