Set out on a full-day adventure combining Iceland’s famous Golden Circle with a relaxing visit to the geothermal lagoon of your choice. After pickup in Reykjavík, travel through Iceland’s breathtaking countryside to Þingvellir National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site lies where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates slowly drift apart. Discover the park’s fascinating geology and learn about its important role in Icelandic history. Continue to the Geysir geothermal area, where bubbling mud pools and steaming vents surround the famous Strokkur geyser. Watch Strokkur erupt before heading to Gullfoss, a spectacular two-tiered waterfall plunging into a dramatic canyon. Visit a local Icelandic horse farm and meet these gentle, friendly animals up close. Learn about Iceland’s unique horse breed, take memorable photos, and offer the horses a special treat. You will also stop at Kerið, a striking volcanic crater featuring a vivid blue-green lake surrounded by colorful red volcanic rock. Transportation and admission with your selected lagoon package are included, so there is no need to arrange separate transfers or tickets. After your relaxing lagoon experience, enjoy transportation back to Reykjavík. Depending on the number of bookings, the Golden Circle portion of the tour may operate in either a modern luxury coach or a comfortable minibus. After completing the Golden Circle, a brief vehicle change in Reykjavík may be required before continuing to your selected lagoon. Guests visiting the Blue Lagoon and Sky Lagoon may travel in separate vehicles for this part of the journey. Transportation to your chosen lagoon and return transportation to Reykjavík are included.
