Day 1: Arrival in Iceland – Discover Reykjavík Upon arrival at Keflavík International Airport, take the convenient airport shuttle (optional) to your hotel in downtown Reykjavík. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure exploring the colorful streets, unique shops, and vibrant culture of the world’s northernmost capital. Day 2: South Coast Waterfalls & Black Sand Beach Head east along the scenic South Coast. Visit two magnificent waterfalls: Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading water, and Skógafoss, known for its powerful drop. Optionally, take a shuttle (at your own expense) to the hauntingly beautiful Solheimasandur Plane Wreck set on a vast black desert. Continue to the dramatic Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach with its basalt columns and roaring Atlantic waves. End the day at Vík í Mýrdal Church, offering a postcard-perfect view over the village and coast. Day 3: Glacier Lagoon & Blue Ice Cave – A Winter Wonderland Travel through vast lava fields to the stunning Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, a verdant gorge carved by glacial rivers. Arrive at the crown jewel of the south – Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where icebergs calved from the glacier float serenely. Day 4: The Golden Circle – Geysers, Waterfalls & Tectonic Plates Explore Iceland’s famous Golden Circle. Marvel at the powerful Gullfoss waterfall, even more majestic under a blanket of snow. Visit the Geysir Geothermal Area to see the erupting Strokkur geyser every few minutes. Along the way, stop for photos with the charming Icelandic horses. At the appropriate time, take the optional airport shuttle to Keflavík International Airport for your departure.
