Description
After pickup from central Reykjavik hotels or guesthouses, travel by bus to Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls. At Seljalandsfoss, walk behind the cascading water and feel the spray. Continue to Skógafoss, notable for its 60-meter drop.
Drive along the southern black sand beaches and witness the power of the sea. Visit the Sólheimajökull glacier snout, an outlet glacier of Mýrdalsjökull, to observe glacial formations up close. Finally, stop at Reynisfjara with its basalt sea stacks before returning to Reykjavik.
