Itinerary

Day 1: Begin with pickup in Reykjavik and travel the Golden Circle route. Visit Thingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where two tectonic plates meet and Iceland’s parliament was founded. Continue to Geysir Hot Spring area to see Strokkur geyser erupt. Finish the Golden Circle with Gullfoss waterfall, where water drops 32 meters into a rugged canyon. On the way to accommodation, stop at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls.

Day 2: After breakfast, explore Vatnajokull National Park. Visit Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, where icebergs float and glacial ice decorates the shore. Head to Skaftafell area for glacier views. In summer hike to Svartifoss waterfall; in winter join a glacier guide for a hike on Falljökull outlet glacier and a natural ice cave tour. Return to accommodation for dinner. Winter visitors may see the Northern Lights if conditions allow.

Day 3: After breakfast, detour to Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon, then visit Vík and the Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. In summer, an optional visit to Katla Ice Cave is offered.
