Your tour begins with a 45-minute scenic drive to Þingvellir National Park. Spend about 60 minutes walking through the rift valley and learning about the site of Iceland’s first parliament, established in 930 AD.
Next, drive approximately 60 minutes to the Geysir Geothermal Area. You will have 45 minutes to watch the Strokkur geyser erupt and explore bubbling hot springs and steaming vents.
Afterward, enjoy a short 10-minute drive to Gullfoss Waterfall. Allocate about 45 minutes to experience this powerful and picturesque waterfall.
Following Gullfoss, there is a scheduled 60-minute lunch break. Lunch is not included, but recommendations such as Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where you can dine inside a working greenhouse, are available upon request.
The return drive brings you back to Reykjavík, with the total tour duration approximately 7 to 8 hours including driving time.
