Located in the Reykjanes Peninsula just 40 minutes from Reykjavík, this small-group or private adventure takes you through black lava fields, steaming hills, and dramatic viewpoints shaped by recent eruptions. In the event of area closures or restricted access near Grindavík or the eruption zone, we’ll reroute the experience to equally scenic and safe volcanic landscapes. The tour may be canceled if weather conditions make the hike to the volcanic area unsafe. In that case, you’ll receive a full refund.
