After pickup from your accommodation in Reykjavik, drive to Thingvellir National Park to see the drifting North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and enjoy views of Thingvallavatn, Iceland’s largest natural lake.
Next, visit Laugarvatn Lake and stop at an organic farm restaurant to try local food and homemade ice cream. Then head to Strokkur geyser, which erupts every 10 minutes, sending a water column 20 to 30 meters high.
Stop at Gullfoss, the Golden Waterfall, where you can walk around the canyon on the Hvita River and take photos. Afterward, explore the Secret Lagoon, a manmade hot spring pool dating back to 1891, with the option to walk around or take a dip.
On the return to Reykjavik, visit Kerið volcanic crater. Along the route, see local sights including sheep corrals, Icelandic horses, red pumice hills, and a mine. The tour ends with drop-off at your accommodation.
