Begin at Þingvellir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can walk between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates and admire the Silfra Fissure and Oxararfoss Waterfall.
Next, visit the Haukadalur Valley’s geothermal zone to witness erupting geysers reaching 30 meters high, fumaroles, and clay pots. Continue to Gullfoss, a powerful waterfall fed by Langjökull glacier waters flowing into a deep tectonic fissure.
Enjoy a late lunch at the Friðheimar Tomato Farm, where you can choose from tomato soup, ravioli pasta, or grilled tortilla pizza, accompanied by homemade bread, water, tea, and coffee. Meet the Icelandic horses that live on the farm before preparing for the snorkeling experience.
