Experience the dynamic Sólheimajökull glacier with a certified guide who will provide safety instructions and professional gear. This tour offers the chance to hike on the glacier and learn basic ice-climbing techniques on a natural ice wall, even without prior experience.
Choose between two tour options: meet directly at the glacier parking lot for a half-day hike or select the full-day option with round-trip transport from Reykjavík including stops at Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. The route through the South Coast allows you to enjoy Iceland’s dramatic landscapes before arriving at the glacier.

Important Information
- Hiking boots with ankle support are mandatory
- Minimum age: 14 years; minimum shoe size: EU 35
- Bring warm, waterproof jacket and pants, hiking boots, headwear, and gloves (outerwear and boots available for rent)
- Specialized glacier crampons fit shoe sizes EU 35 to 50; sizes outside this range cannot join
