Description
Experience Icelandic wildlife on a fast rigid inflatable boat equipped with new suspension 'shock seats' for safety and comfort. This allows you to cover more area and get closer to the wildlife than traditional boats. After your adventure on the water, you will return along Reykjavik’s shoreline, where you can see landmarks including the 'Sun Voyager' sculpture and Harpa Concert Hall from the sea.
Groups are limited to 12 participants. The tour starts at Reykjavik Old Harbour, where you meet your captain for a safety briefing. Warm coveralls are provided before departure. Your captain will navigate you out of the harbour and into open waters to find marine wildlife. Between early May and late August, the tour includes a short stop at puffin breeding grounds.
The tour lasts approximately two hours. If no whales are spotted, you will receive a complimentary ticket for a future tour.
