It’s okay. Location is excellent for access to both fly bus station to airport and downtown shopping district and bars. I would book ahead and ask to get room upstairs. The bottom floor rooms smell like mold especially near the washroom/laundry. The tap water smells like sulfer so bring bottled water if you are sensitive. Also bring milk and maybe some bread. They have cereal and peanut butter and jam and such as well as tea and coffee for sharing, but the milk in fridge was expired and there was only a little frozen bread in freezer. We had to leave very early for a flight so I don’t know if breakfast situation is better later in morning.

What a wonderful place to stay. We were treated like family. My luggage was carried into the guesthouse and brought to my room. Not only did they have breakfast options, but also some little bites at lunch. The room was very comfortable and had the shower and bathroom inside, but also an option for a bigger space to shower and restroom also private. The whole family was available to speak with ask questions about what to see in Reykjavik. I'd definitely stay there again

We were there end of September. Very nice location, very good price. The rooms look good, ambient is very homey and the owner Elza was really nice to us. We also got some useful information about Reykjavik from Roko, who works there. They also have a really sweet dog named Medo. We will definitely come again!
