Amazing service. Rooms immaculate. Breakfast was above and beyond! I would recommend if you're staying at another hotel, to come here for their breakfast, its that good. We were even offered early morning food from their small store on the day of our flight since the breakfast area was not yet open. Would recommend, this is the place to be.

Update: The weekday night manager came on duty and was superb. He apologized—something that seemed beyond the front desk before then—and actually explained why we did not receive a good room or why there were limited options. All of which should have been done when we arrived. I would stay at any hotel where this young man works. He is the definition of first-class. I cannot re-rate to 5-star because of the initial experience and subpar room, but it is a lovely hotel with a nice location (and great food!). My experience so far has been a 1-star. An interior room next to the lifts is not a deluxe room. And there is a fan going as if someone smoked and they had to clean it out. For paying their premium prices, it’s an absolute embarrassment and the desk gives nothing but excuses. If you choose to stay here contact them ahead of time to be certain you do not get the last room in the inn. Attached are photos of our view (yes, that’s a glass wall reflecting the opposite side of the building), and the pitch black shower!

My partner and I stayed at this hotel in Reykjavik for five days at the end of May 2026 on our way to Toronto; I had booked a standard double room. Iceland isn’t exactly cheap - quite the opposite - and even the standard double room cost over 300 euros per night. The hotel is right in the center, with Flybus stop No. 2 directly across the street. We had a room on the 3rd floor at the back of the building. It wasn’t particularly spacious, but it was sufficient for a few nights and matched the room description. Modern furnishings, a huge TV, a spacious shower, and very good soundproofing. We didn’t use the spa or the fitness room. Breakfast was first-class - it’s worth noting that you don’t have to stand in line at a stupid coffee machine, but instead get a whole pot; for that alone, the hotel deserves my deepest gratitude. All in all I would choose this hotel again anytime.

We loooved our stay. The place was incredible. Very big and comfy bed (we stayed in the suite), bathroom had all amenities one might need, and more. Even though the hotel is located downtown, it's very quiet in the rooms. Breakfast was delicious, with many different options - different kinds of breas, hams, cheeses, baked sweet goodies, fresh fruits and vegetables, scrambled eggs, sausages and more ! The only thing is, no staff member we've ment spoke Icelandic. However, all they were all very nice, professional and helpful. We would love to stay again.

The hotel is much better than the photos and reviews suggested. Warm welcome, quick check-in and check-out, and a very friendly, helpful team. Spacious, comfortable room with a charming bathroom and heated floors. Excellent breakfast with great variety and quality. Fantastic restaurant and great location. I would happily stay here again!
