Description

Your Northern Lights adventure begins with an evening pickup from your chosen spot in the Reykjavík area. Leaving the city behind, we’ll head into the peaceful Icelandic countryside, far from the light pollution, for the best chance to spot the magical auroras. Our expert guide will track down the clearest skies and the best KP index for optimal viewing. The hunt can last anywhere from 3 to 5 hours, depending on the conditions, but we’ll do everything we can to find the lights. Once we find the perfect spot, get ready for an unforgettable show. Picture neon green ribbons lighting up the sky, sometimes shifting to soft pinks or deep purples, depending on solar activity. No two displays are ever the same. Waves of colour shimmer and dance across the stars in a breathtaking, otherworldly performance that feels like a celestial ballet. As you soak it all in, we’ll keep you warm with hot chocolate and sweet treats. And don’t worry about missing the moment, our guide will snap some amazing photos of you with the lights, free of charge. After the adventure, we’ll make our way back to the city and drop you off at your selected location. If no aurora is seen, you’ll have unlimited re-tries valid for up to 3 years. That’s right, you’ll be able to re-join the chase of Northern Lights until it’s a successful one!

Important Information

• - Due to weather, we may cancel the Northern Lights portion by 18:15 on the tour day if conditions aren’t favorable. You can rebook for another date or receive a full refund. - If no aurora is seen, you get unlimited free re-tries for up to 3 years. Just contact us to rebook and join the chase again until you catch the lights! Please keep in mind that refunds are not issued when a tour takes place but no Northern Lights are seen. - For the Northern Lights adventure, pick-up is at either 20:30 (8:30 p.m.) or 21:30 (9:30 p.m.), depending on the season. You’ll find the actual pickup time in the booking process and on your final voucher. Picking everyone up can take up to 30 minutes, your patience is much appreciated.
