Enter the world of the Vikings with this ticket to the incredibly life-like wax museum and discover the unique community and culture of this remote island. Engage all your senses for a 35-minute audio-guided tour and get to see 20 exhibits that each showcase a highlight from the Icelandic sagas, and thus Icelandic history.
Start your tour by learning about the earliest settlers, the Papar, the first Vikings who settled Iceland and gave Reykjavik its name. Then move along to the discovery of America by Leif the Lucky and the founding of the Parliament.
Afterward, move into the Saga age, where all of these stories were written down, and learn also about the civil war in Iceland. Finally you move towards the Reformation and learn about the last Catholic Bishop in Iceland.
