If you want a truly authentic feeling pub this is the place for you. The wooden bar alone is gorgeous! The vibe/atmosphere is top notch.

While I am sure that some would argue the authenticity of this pub, my wife and I really enjoyed it. It has all the classic and expected features of an Irish Pub along with a friendly staff. We also appreciate that they have a happy hour. We would return.

Had a great time at The Irishman Pub in Reykjavík! The atmosphere was warm, lively, and exactly what you’d hope for from an Irish pub. The live music added so much energy to the evening, and it was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Iceland. We especially loved the Irish coffee , it was rich, smooth, and one of the best we’ve had. One thing to note is that they don’t really serve food beyond snacks like chips/crisps/ fries. It would be nice if they offered a few more food options, especially for visitors looking to enjoy a meal along with their drinks. Overall, a fun spot with great vibes, excellent drinks, and live entertainment definitely worth a visit if you’re in Reykjavík

A legit Irish bar in the central area of the Capitol. Overall, the selection of local Icelandic beers was appreciated and I actually got one on happy hour. The staff is okay, maybe not as cheerful as you would find in Dublin. The actual interior space is well laid out and quite relaxing. I could definitely see you spending an hour to here drinking some good brews. They have a very long happy hour which makes the draft beers much more affordable.

Very nice atmosphere with good live music (two guitars) on weekends. Excellent for meeting new people, pretty festive and filled with locals and tourists alike, although fortunately predominantly locals. I found the drinks to be on the pricier side. As a side note, be sure to always watch over your jacket. My friend got his wallet stolen either here or in the Old Bookstore. Never let your guard down, even in Iceland. Thankfully there wasn't much in the wallet.
