IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION, CALL 112.
The emergency room is open 24 hours a day. You should bring any documents that are related to your health history and current medications. The wait can be several hours if the problem is not life-threatening.
You can also get a phone consultation with a nurse if your health condition is non-urgent, by dialling (00354) 1770 between 5 pm and 8 am on Mondays to Fridays, and 24 hours a day on weekends.
If you aren't covered by your own insurance, and intra-governmental medical treaties don't apply to you, you will have to the full cost of your medical treatment yourself. If you are a resident of Scandinavia, you are covered.
