Outdoor heated pool:
Laugardalur is home to Laugardalslaug, Iceland's biggest outdoor geothermally heated pool, where you are welcome to swim in any weather. Embrace the strange sensation of running from the changing rooms to the pool, in a bikini, in thick snow. Very strange but very fun. The pool is open from 6.30am - 10pm weekdays and 8am - 10pm weekends all year round.

Zoo:
Laugardalur also houses a family park and zoo which is open all year round and displays traditional Icelandic animals like reindeer, white foxes, cattle, horses and sheep as well as rides and play equipment to keep kids entertained.
