About the Whales from their webpage: 'The whales have a unique presence in the exhibition. Indeed, 23 of them live there, permanently. We sought counsel from marine biologist Edda Elísabet Magnúsdóttir, who, by gathering information and illustrative material, helped us present the whales in the most accurate way. The result is the life-size models you will see at the exhibition. Indeed, there is hardly a better way to learn about whales than to see them for just what they are - large, interesting and beautiful.
