Description

This four-day adventure takes you along Iceland's scenic south coast, with highlights including Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls and the unique Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. You'll visit the picturesque village of Vík, surrounded by stunning volcanic landscapes, before continuing to your accommodation. On the third day, journey to Vatnajökull Glacier, Europe’s largest, for a guided blue ice cave tour and exploration of Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach. The journey concludes with a return to Reykjavík, with opportunities to see the Northern Lights along the way. Day 1: Arrival in Iceland Make your way to your hotel in Reykjavík, with the option to arrange airport transfers. Accommodation in Reykjavík is included. Day 2: South Coast Highlights Pickup from your hotel begins at 08:00, leading into a day full of iconic south coast experiences. First stop is Seljalandsfoss, a 60-metre waterfall where you can walk behind the cascade. Next, visit Skógafoss, another 60-metre waterfall with breathtaking views from both base and summit. The day continues at Reynisfjara, the black sand beach known for its dramatic basalt columns and sea stacks. You'll stay overnight in Vík, ideally located for Northern Lights sightings if conditions allow. Day 3: Vatnajökull Glacier Adventure Explore Vatnajökull Glacier, including a guided tour of a remarkable crystal blue ice cave. Marvel at glacial formations, including crevasses and moulins, with expert guidance and equipment provided for a safe experience. From the glacier, travel to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon to view its floating icebergs and visit nearby Diamond Beach, where ice fragments glisten against black sands. Return to Reykjavík later in the day, depending on weather and road conditions. Day 4: Departure Make your own way to Keflavík Airport; transfers are available upon request.
