Take an afternoon tour of Iceland’s legendary Golden Circle on an 8-hour day trip from Reykjavik. Feel the spray of the waters of the glacial River Hvítá as it plummets down into a 32-meter deep crevice. Next, enter Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimeters per year. Þingvellir was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural values in 2004.  Pass through Icelandic farms on your drive around the Golden Circle.
