This was a gem we discovered that is attached to the Fosshotel Reykjavik. We wanted a small meal and had their hotdogs. These were the best hotdogs I've ever eaten. I heard that hotdogs in Reykjavik were wonderful, and even though we only had them here, we suggest giving them a try. There are more than 40 on-tap beers to try.

We got in a little late to Reykjavik and were looking for something to eat. This place was close, and looked pretty casual. We sat at the bar, and they do have quite a selection of beer. An amazing selection actually. They had 2 gluten free beers on tap even! The guy behind the bar was pretty inattentive. I think we was new. He was more concerned with his phone than new customers sitting down. One of his colleagues noticed and came over to check on us and take our order. She was fairly professional. It wasn't the greatest service, or knowledgeable of the menu to be honest. That was the only issue I had here. My wife ordered fish and chips, which she said was one of the best she's ever had. I ordered the burger, and it was delicious. Not the top tier, but better than most. Well seasoned and the right temperature. I asked for no cheese, and they still put cheese on it. I didn't feel like messing with the inattentive phone guy so I just ate it as is. The fries were VERY good! I loved them. Seasoned well, warm, and crisp. They nailed it with the fries. I had a couple gluten free beers, and they were light and delicious. For Iceland where I think food is expensive, this place is still a reasonable value. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a fun casual vibe. I recommend this place. I would go back if it was convenient, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.

We landed in Iceland at 7:30 PM, and by the time we finally made it to our Airbnb, it was nearly 9 PM. Hungry after the long day, we popped into a charming little beer garden nearby for a quick bite. I went with the fish and chips—and it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the burger, which he thought was just okay. That said, the wide selection of beers was fantastic. If you’re a beer lover, this spot is definitely worth a visit!
