Reviews
We stumbled upon this place by accident while looking for somewhere to eat and ended up having a Mexican bowl for dinner. What a great hidden gem. The atmosphere very rock 'n roll (as you would expect from a place with this name), the staff arr friendly, and the coffee is excellent. Without a doubt, the best accidental place we've ever walked into.
Lemmy is housed in one of Reykjavík’s oldest buildings built in 1805. Its quirky interior combines rock-and-roll culture with vintage renaissance aesthetics! Essentially, providing a one-of-a-kind, really awesome place to chill with friends. The bar is named in tribute of the former Ian Fraser "Lemmy" Kilmister, the legendary founder, bassist, and lead singer of the heavy metal band Motörhead.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What a great little place. If you enjoy proper craft beer, this is well worth a visit. There are around 50 beers on tap, and the flight of four beers is a brilliant way to try a good selection before settling on a favourite. A special thank you to the lady behind the bar, who was so friendly and welcoming. She took the time to chat, made us feel at home and really added to the experience. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in Reykjavík.
Awesome place! Amazing live music. Great drinks. The staff is awesome as well. One of my favorite places I went while vacationing in Iceland. One of the best brats I have ever had, anywhere!
Very nice pub, amazing live music with Roland on violin. Such a great music. Blond girl behind the bar very miserable, it felt like she didn’t want to be there. Toilets not great. Overall fine. Live music saved the experience.
