Coocoo's Nest

Welcome to the up-and-coming Grandi Waterfront, which serves as a kind of meeting point of industry and trendy bodegas, of iceland's history of fisheries and our future as a tourist haven, with fishing boats and industrial workshops side-by-side with cute coffee shops and nature-centered eateries.

This is where you find the coocoo's nest, a small, family-run restaurant/café which specializes in innovations such as sourdough pizzas and taco Tuesdays, amongst other things. It would almost be obnoxiously hipsterish if it wasn't so charmingly authentic. 

The decor is retro and understated, with rough-cut wooden tables and paneling, and the restaurant itself is cozy and intimate.
