Directions to North Sailing Greenland

North Sailing, the first company in Iceland to organize and offer regular whale watching tours, and the most experienced whale watching company in Iceland, are now offering tours around Greenland. It‘s a week long trip, and starts with departure from Reykjavík, and the days after are spent exploring and sailing around Greenland. Included in the trip is airfare, return transport, accommodation in made up bunk beds with shared facilities, all meals on board the schooner, soft drinks, services of the crew, hiking excursions, arrangements and one dinner in Ittoqqortoormiit.

North Sailing offers a wide selection of trips, tours and cruises, and their main goal is to make the customer happy, safe and satisfied. The staff is highly experienced and all of the boats are traditional wooden fishing boats that have been carefully restored and adapted to their new role, without compromising their original character. North Sailing has always been a family company, owned and run by three generations within the family.

North Sailing has received both domestic and international awards for their operations. These include an Environmental award from the Icelandic tourist board in 1996 and an Innovation Award from The Icelandic Tourist Association in 2007. Spend 7 days in Greenland and explore the remote and magnificent nature of Scoresby Sound fjord, which extends 350 km inland. Fly from Reykjavik to Greenland, go aboard the sturdy schooner Hildur and experience the amazing expedition.
