The Café on the first floor serves the best soup in the city!
Hafnarhús built in the 1930s, this refurbished fishery office and warehouse now houses the permanent exhibitions of the works of Erró, one of Europe's most notable pop artists. The other temporary shows at Hafnarhús tend toward the progressive and experimental, emphasizing works from established modern artists. The building contains six galleries, a multipurpose room, a library and a book-and-design shop with great art books and unique Icelandic design. The stylish café on the second floor is a popular lunch spot against an amazing view of the harbour.
