Our trip was a little last-minute so we didn’t have a huge amount of choice for accommodation in our desired budget. As you might expect, you get what you pay for, so the room was minimalist and a bit rundown with some maintenance issues - for example the shower dripped so the shower head was kept in the sink in between uses, it looked like the towel ring had fallen off the wall and not been replaced (it looks like they have started renovations downstairs, but we were upstairs). That said, it was clean and everything worked/could be used and it was fine for a place to rest your head, which is all we really needed as we were out exploring all the time. It was very well located for bus stops (for airport transfers, private tours and public buses) and eateries - we ate at Hard Rock Cafe one night and the Messinn restaurant (literally next door and lovely authentic Icelandic seafood).

Great location in the center of Reykjavik and a nice apartment overall, except for the bathroom, which had a very strong sewage smell. Unfortunately, on Friday night the noise from the club next door was extremely loud — the music felt like it was inside the apartment, even on the third floor.

We stayed in apartment B. The rustic wood floor - whilst charming - produced a splinter almost straight away (maybe provide hotel slippers?) and there are large knots in the wood where the holes are potentially a concern - something to look at. Otherwise, I think it was excellent. Got a little noisy outside on Friday night but that's fair enough. The location is excellent for trips and the amenities were good. Arrival process was simple. The shower is a bit tricky (hard to strike the right balance) and they provided pods for the coffee machine (Dulce Gusto) although it would've been nice if there were pods my partner could use too (dairy free) as well ones that were pre-milked for me, as it were. Overall, definitely recommended.

We booked the 2 bedroom apartment. Cosy unit with fully equipped kitchen and attached bathroom. They also have a washer and a dryer. The rooms are warm and comfortable. Location is excellent (right next to bust stop #3). The owner is highly responsive to any queries (even if it is silly). There is a kroner store few blocks away for all your shopping needs. Highly recommend for stay.
