Reviews
Excellent location. Breakfast is served in paper bags to the door in the morning. No dietary options. Rooms are plain, no TV. Communal kitchen but no oven.
Decent hotel located near the city center of Reykjavik with self check-in. Good location with easy access to attractions by public transport and walking. Rooms are a decent size and good value for money. Beds and duvets were comfortable but the pillows were very thin. Additionally the bathroom had a strange smell the entire time we were staying there. Overall we felt this place was alright for a short stay, but probably not for more than 2 nights.
Located at the older side of town with the Harpa concert hall 10 mins by foot, reasonable guesthouse with no major complaints..shared kitchen is basic but had all the necessary utensils. Room itself was small, fit the bed but not much else.
Great economic option if you want to be in the heart of Reykjavik. 5 mins walk from the port restaurant, 16 mins to the cathedral and maine tourist road and 21 min from the bus station. Because of the expensive price of hotels in Reykjavik for the first time in 20 years I book a room with the shared bathroom..I would do it again ( only at Day Dream) since the shower was always cleaned. It is a common bathroom for just 5 rooms. Room furniture and bed were comfortable, not old and all is done digitally (you receive the pin via email prior to your arrival). Within five minutes walk you find a bakery and a famous Icelandic cinemon roll for breakfast!
