A basic hotel that had its quirky but good points. The writing on the corridor walls made you stop and read. Breakfast was standard western fare but generous. The rooms were large enough for us. Warm and comfortable.

3 Stars for a 3-Star Hotel Let's beginn with the positive things about this hotel. The location is very central and you can reach most of the important touristic spots by foot. Only the parking situation is difficult and you have to pay extra for the underground parking. Our room was quite used, no decoration and not very lovely. There was not a single picture on the wall, just a nail. The bathroom was clean but small and almost no storage. The cupboard was falling from the wall (See picture atteched). The breakfast was ok but do not touch the orange juice. It's not an orange juice, it's a sugary orange limonade. I would recommend this hotel for an one night business trip, but not for multiple nights during a vacation-trip. I strongly recommend that the hotel modernize its rooms for a more lovely and pleasant stay.

3 star hotel, nice enough! A pretty easy and accessible walk (10 minutes) to downtown area. Nice seating area and game room downstairs in basement, great for large groups. Small complaints: Scratchy, hot sheets and no top flat sheet (I guess that’s typical of European style housing?), and does have dark curtains but not completely black out because the sides as middle don’t meet up completely, so bring an eye mask if it’s during the summer time when the sky is light 24 hours. The buffet breakfast is great, and included in your stay. They also have free luggage storage that you can access with your hotel room key. No A/C but one small part of your window can open partiallly, letting in some cool air. It doesn’t make it truly cold in the room though. Doors do slam and it is loud down the hall, and I don’t think your neighbors realize how much it echoes. Overall it is completely fine- just wanted to be transparent for those that are looking out for these things.

Good hotel. Room was cold when we arrived but warmed well enough. Limited parking nearby. 2000isk to use garage per night when we stayed. Beds were very comfy with excellent pillows. Blackout curtains worked well. The best in Iceland so far (out of 4 hotels when writing this) very nice shower and delicious breakfast with skyr and good coffee. Excited to stay again before we leave. Bathroom has hair dryer provided.

Well located, nice room with a nice size bathrooms. Good front desk staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nice a good selection of hot and cold items; busy early in the morning due to everyone getting ready for excursions so if you are not needing to head out early you could grab a later breakfast
