Lovely small hotel with very clean and comfortable suite. The breakfast was absolutely fabulous and they also served freshly baked snacks throughout the day. Excellent service and very accommodating. We were able to store our luggage with them for a few hours while we walked to the botanical gardens. Thank you for your hospitality.

The “no-reception” hotel seems cool until you run into an issue that requires somebody on-site. The fire alarm started ringing at 1am waking the whole hotel up. I think there was a fireman turning it off at 1:20. At 1:24 it started briefly again for a few seconds, making sure to ruin your attempt at sleeping. We were never told what happened. Not even a “sorry”. Was it a false alarm? Was it fire somewhere? Nobody knows. Not even the cleaning staff in the morning knew anything about the incident.

Wonderful place to stay in Reykjavik. The location makes it easy to get anywhere, whether you are exploring the city or traveling to others parts of Iceland. The self-check in process is quick and easy. The rooms are tastefully decorated, and beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent, with many options to choose from. The staff are kind and welcoming.

I stayed here in Feb 2026 and absolutely loved it. The parking is incredibly convenient to begin with. My room was spotless, very stylish and comfortable. The shower and the bathroom overall was perfect. The breakfast was also outstanding. The staff couldnt have been friendlier. I would 100% stay here again!

We booked Hotel Lotus last minute and the experience was great. It’s a small hotel with good amenities and great breakfast. Vegan options were given. All staff members were outstandingly friendly and helpful, especially Martyna. It's also easy to park there and it's not far away from city center.
