Private Golden Circle with a Local touch, Food tasting and Sightseeing. In the morning your private guide will pick you up at your Hotel, or the pick up location you asked for. You will be heading out for a drive of about 45 minutes, you will stop at a local bakery to pick up some delicious freshly made break and other goods. You will then be heading out to Kerið Crater. Kerið is a stunning volcanic crater in Iceland, known for its vivid colors and captivating beauty. Created around 3,000 to 6,000 years ago, it features a vibrant lake at its base and striking red, orange, and green slopes. A popular tourist attraction, Kerið offers breathtaking views and insights into Iceland's volcanic history. After having experienced this you will head on to some of our local secret sightseeing spots with stunning river and mountain views. Your next stop will be at the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Gullfoss is a stunning and powerful two-tiered waterfall in southwest Iceland. The Hvítá river plunges 32 meters into a narrow canyon with walls reaching up to 70 meters in height. Its turquoise waters and surrounding volcanic scenery make it an awe-inspiring natural wonder. Geysir area is not far out from here, only about 7 minutes drive away so this is your next stop. The Geysir area is a geothermal wonderland renowned for its erupting hot springs and geysers. Located in the Haukadalur Valley, Geysir is where the English word 'geyser' originated. The star attraction, Strokkur, erupts regularly, shooting scalding water up to 30 meters (98 feet) into the air. The geothermal landscape is dotted with steaming vents and colorful hot pools, providing a unique and fascinating experience for visitors to witness the Earth's raw power and beauty. Friðheimar tomato greenhouse restaurant is your next stop for some unbelievable farm to table experience. At Friðheimar restaurant, everything on the menu revolves around fresh, locally grown tomatoes from their on-site greenhouse. From soups and sauces to salads and main dishes, each item showcases the versatility and intense flavors of these ripe, sustainably cultivated tomatoes. It's a unique and immersive dining experience where tomatoes take the spotlight in every delightful dish. Next stop is an Ice Cream stop, made at a local farm this is a direct 'From cow to cone' concept! The grand finale is the otherworldly Þingvellir National Park. Þingvellir National Park in Iceland is a historically significant and stunning natural wonder. It holds the ancient site of Iceland's first parliament and showcases the unique geological Mid-Atlantic Ridge.
