Slippbarinn at Icelandair Hotel Reykjavik Marina has quickly become a local favorite, and is a welcome addition to the harbor area in downtown Reykjavik. Slippbarinn is a classy little place that serves up some of the best cocktails in town, and they strive to make the usual just a little bit more exciting.
Although Slippbarinn specializes in drinks, they also serve food. Their small and simple menu features many dishes that are great for sharing, such as the Charcuiterie, a dish with many different types of sausage and cured meat like Serrano and Chorizo, Cheeses, olives and pickled vegetables. But that's not all, there's also a variety of other dishes and a brunch menu. Seafood dishes are highly recommended.
The atmosphere at Slippbarinn is clean, quiet and sophisticated, and the music is not too intrusive. The crowd is mostly business people and bankers, but you'll spot local artists, actors and musicians in between as well. Slippbarinn is one of the most beautifully designed bars in the city. It's very sophisticated, yet colorful and lively.
