Bear is an amazing bartender. Friendly, welcoming and knows a great deal about Icelandic history. My buddy Andre ate like 14 burgers here and had to buy a new pair of sweat pants for the flight home. The ones with the elastic waist.
I don’t know what it is about Iceland, but these guys make amazing burgers… And when I say that, there’s still another level above that, which is the burger at this restaurant. Not to be out done, the bartender, Bear, is one of the friendliest, most entertaining, tall drink of waters in Reykjavík. 5 stars, no notes. Great sound track. skál!
Fresh & juicy- I ordered Foxy brown and my friends ordered TLC & 2 PAC . Did not take pics they devoured it before I had a chance. The fries were also cooked to perfection with just the right amount of salt.
Happened to stumble upon this gem during the last night of a trip to Iceland. We lucked out and got to meet Iago, one of the bartenders, who was competing in the Restaurant Week Cocktail Challenge. Tried La Ilorona, his cocktail for the competition. It was delicious and left you with a wonderful warmth that lingered. The 2Pac burgers were also delicious! We got to meet and chat with Saga, the wife of one of the (literal) 2 Guys. Loved the vibe of the place and felt like I’d stepped into a time capsule for rap and hip-hop of the 90s/00s, my Gen X soul appreciated every last bit of it! So do the 2 Guys who started the restaurant. Saga told us this music genre is totally their jam. I am so here for it! Will definitely return for a meal and drink (or 2) the next time I am in Reykjavik!!
Went just wanting a burger. I ended up staying for a few hours. The drinks were good and the burger was crazy good. My bar tender was named bear. That dude needs a raise☝️☝️also probably the best and cheapest cocktails.
