Great place to eat, grab a beer—or both! We tried four beers: Hazy Bastard, Amber Bastard, Ulfrun, and Brio, and every one of them was excellent. For dinner, we had the Double Bastard—a double cheeseburger with cheddar cheese, house sauce, and fries. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and absolutely delicious! We also ordered the Fish (Cod) & Chips, and they were fantastic! The cod was light, flaky, and not greasy at all. It paired perfectly with the tartar sauce, and the fries were once again crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. If you’re looking for a great spot for craft beer, a delicious meal, or both, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Over our 5 day trip, we actually went here twice, and in speaking with others, we weren't alone! First off, awesome cocktails, and a great gin menu. The food was very tasty and the service great. Atmosphere was a nice vibe of people chatting and enjoying life, but not too loud. Fun things around, take a look at the pictures on the wall across from the bar. In US dollars, about $80 per person, as cocktails are pricy, but lovely. We each got an entree each time and 2 cocktails.

Food, Drink, Atmosphere were all excellent! Celebrated my 65th bday here. Highly recommend: appetizer pretzel with cheese, dinner-fat bastard burger, dessert warm caramel roll. 😋. Drinks: flight of local beers, Bastard Zombie and Dancing Queen.

I was looking through Google Maps before my trip to Reykjavik and found this place, saved it and came in. Glad I did! The atmosphere is great! The service was awesome the food? Top notch! I showed up on taco Tuesday so of course I went with the tacos. 3750 krona for 3 tacos!

A nice, quirky restaurant with friendly and brilliant service. I ordered the Double Bastard burger — it was tasty but a little lacking in flavour for me. My husband tried the pepperoni flatbread, which was a bit too quirky in taste for our liking. The only downside was that the tables were quite close together, leaving little room to manoeuvre. Overall, a fun spot with great service, though the flavours might not suit everyone.
