I was feeling tired of Icelandic food after a few days here, and this was a nice reprieve. I really enjoyed the thali platter and was happy they could make a vegan version. The food was very good but not very filling.
After researching many restaurants for our one night in Reykjavik we decided on this one. So glad we did! Wonderful flavoursome food, with excellent service. We had the vegetarian biryani, the lamb thali set and the chicken pan fried momo. All very delicious. Also they open a bit earlier than other restaurants which worked well for us with kids.
It’s a really cosy and nice atmosphere! We enjoyed the dumplings and the portion was quite large, but the naan was a bit dry. The staff was very friendly.
It was our first time trying Nepalese cuisine and we loved it. The atmosphere is great and has a nice Nepalese style. The only downside was that it was a bit cold inside, but with a warm tea it wasn’t too bad. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place if you want to try something different. 🥰
Oh my God - the flavours, the food! ♥️ I genuinely haven’t tasted better food anywhere else in Iceland. We tried the steamed momos and a paneer thali, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our stomachs were completely full, yet we still wanted to try more. We also got paneer biryani as a takeaway, and that was amazing too. Such a lovely place with incredibly warm and attentive servers. Hands down, the best restaurant experience we had in Iceland—unforgettable!
